Benjamin Stevenson Launches His New Book (James Will Also Be There) - Sydney

Join internationally best-selling author Beej to launch his blockbuster new mystery novel: Everyone on this Train Is A Suspect. Ernest Cunningham is back, tasked with solving the murder of a fellow crime writer aboard Australia’s most famous train: the Ghan. One half of acclaimed musical comedy duo The Stevenson Experience, Beej convinced Jimmy to come along and turn his book launch into a stand-up comedy show. Expect side-splitting songs, razor-sharp stand-up and hilarious banter. Plus, hear the behind-the-scenes on Benjamin’s new book, and be one of the first to solve the mystery of the year.

How will James handle Benjamin being the centre of attention? We’re sure it will be fine. The twins aren’t usually ones for jealousy… Are they?

The show will be followed by a book signing. Books will be available for purchase on the night.

Reviews:
“It’s Knives Out meets Richard Osman. Or Dexter by way of Agatha Christie. Or Schitt’s Creek with a body count. AJ Finnon Everyone In My Family Has Killed Someone

“Scathingly witty and hilariously riotous, their songs are side-bustingly funny.” ★★★★★Melbourne Arts

“Nothing can prepare you, an absolute highlight of fringe that had the audience in stitches”  ★★★★½ The Advertiser

“An absolute stand-out, one of the best moments of the Festival.” ★★★★Fountain (UK)

“Hilarious! You will not regret it.”  ★★★★½Herald Sun

ANNOUNCEMENT FROM JIMMY & BEEJ

Due to the current and evolving health crisis, we have made the tough call to cancel all our upcoming shows (sorry Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney and Edinburgh).

We hope to be able to re-schedule a few shows to later in the year, and look forward to seeing you when we are able to announce new dates, but this may take some time.

Now is an incredibly tough time for performers, musicians, theatre staff, bar workers and everyone who is involved in what we do. When we are allowed to go out again, see as many gigs as possible!

We’ll be putting out weekly clips, online content and a podcast now that we have no touring, so stay tuned here.

P.S You may have been given the option to donate you ticket to us instead of getting a refund. Please don’t do that, we are O.K and would love to see you at another show instead.

Stay Safe! Jimmy and Beej.
